The club would like to thank all the supporters of the 50/50 Club whilst it was running.

What is the Chepstow & District Swimming Club 50/50 Club?

The 50/50 Club exists to provide parents and supporters of the club the possibility of winning some money whilst contributing to the swimming club funds. Membership costs £5.00 per month and the draw takes place on the last Saturday of every month. Monthly subscriptions are payable by Standing Order only with payments due on the 15th of every month.

There are three prizes available every month; an example being if 100 tickets are sold the total revenue received is £500.00. The club keeps 50% and 50% is paid out in prize money. The total prize money is dependant on the tickets sold each month.

Based on 100 tickets sold prize money would be as follows:

• 1st Prize - £140.00
• 2nd Prize - £75.00
• 3rd Prize - £35.00

Rules for the 50/50 Club Lottery

1. 1. The private lottery run by the Chepstow & District Swimming Club and shall be known as the 50/50 Club.
2. 2. Membership is available to both members and non-members and there is no limit on the amount of tickets sold.
3. 3. Payments for membership must be made in advance and such payments are not returnable. Membership shall be granted upon making your first payment and you are entered into the next monthly draw. Payments must be made by standing order.
4. 4. Each member will be allocated a number, which will serve as a chance in each of the lottery draws.
5. 5. A member may hold more than one chance.
6. 6. Tickets will not be issued.
7. 7. The prize fund will be calculated on the total membership and will be drawn on the last Saturday of each month.
8. 8. Members who have failed to make their monthly subscription will not be eligible to win the monthly prize draws.
9. 9. A prize is not transferable and shall only be paid to the individual who purchased the winning chance. The only exception being, should any person wish to directly sponsor Chepstow & District Swimming Club, they can purchase an annual ticket for £60.00. In the event of a sponsor's ticket being drawn as a winning ticket, any proceeds are then paid directly to Chepstow & District Swimming Club.
10. 10. Members must be at least 16 years old.
11. 11. Any change of address must be notified in writing. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact prize winners but, if a prize winner cannot be contacted within 2 months, a further draw will take place to find a replacement prize winner.
12. 12. The decisions of the Chairman of the Club shall be final.
13. 13. The Chairman and the Committee of the Club shall be responsible for the correct termination of the 50/50 Club.
